The subject of the conference will be theoretical and practical problems of contemporary architecture and civil engineering,
with particular emphasis on the following issues:

• new trends in the shaping of sustainable architecture (eco-nomics-ecology-society)
• genius lociand globalization – contemporarychallenges of design
• the design of barrier-free buildings – accessible space, in-ter-generational integration
• problems of modernization and revitalization of buildings and their complexes
• modern material solutions in architecture and civil engi-neering
• smart city – solutions and hazards
• wooden construction
• carbon footprint – the actual meaning – ways to deter mine
• energy efficiency in architecture and civil engineering
• small nuclear reactors, and the energy demands in the civil engineering (heating industry)
• the engineering of construction materials with a focus on waste management in civil engineering
• hybrid energy sources in individual, commercial and indus-trial building construction
• BIM (Building Information Modelling) – digitization of pro-cesses carried out during the life cycle of a building, with a particular emphasis on the design and construction period.
• civil protective structures

We invite both specialists and academics from Poland and abroad, who educate future designers, as well as active architects, urban planners, conservators and civil and structural engineers to participate in the conference. Summaries of papers containing the names of the authors, their place of employment, the title of the paper and the content of no more than one A4 page should be sent by April 30, 2025 to: archbud@akademiata.pl
